Are you a detail-oriented leader with a passion for fresh food and an eye for merchandising? We’re looking for a Produce Manager to lead our team and ensure our customers have access to the highest quality fruits and vegetables!
Lead the team: Train, schedule, and develop produce department associates, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Manage inventory: Oversee ordering, receiving, and stocking processes to ensure optimal freshness, minimize shrink, and consistently meet departmental sales goals.
Drive merchandising: Design and maintain eye-catching, well-stocked displays that highlight seasonal items, promote fresh product turnover, and elevate the shopping experience.
Ensure compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards, ensuring prep areas and sales floors are spotless and safe.
Strategize & collaborate: Analyze department performance and communicate with store leadership to implement strategic initiatives, manage labor costs, and address operational concerns.
Previous experience in retail produce operations, with a strong track record in a supervisory or management role.
Extensive knowledge of produce varieties, seasonal growing trends, proper handling, and optimal storage techniques.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
The physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy produce boxes, and work in varied temperatures.
